Generative AI continues to be the rage and I wrote about it earlier (primer, applications in HR). A recent survey of tech employees and tech HR employees showed that these technologies can help save HR employees 70 minutes a week by automating tasks related to candidate management, onboarding etc.

Today’s world of work offers many diverse ways to think about and manage your career. There is more information, frameworks and tools than ever before. And yet this can be intimidating. A typical career conversation with your manager can feel mundane (what are your career goals, what is the 5-10 year plan, what’s the next role for you etc.).
I really liked the idea of the Career Operating System, which is a structured set of mindsets and habits to enable purposeful career growth.
Opportunities just don’t come our way. We need to get in the way of opportunity.
